| Sinopsis | : School operational management plays a crucial role in improving the quality of education and student achievement. However, many schools, especially those in remote areas, face significant challenges such as limited budgets, inadequate infrastructure, and insufficient human resource capacity, which can hinder the achievement of educational goals. This study aims to analyze these challenges and explore the impact of effective operational management on education quality and student performance. Employing a library research approach and qualitative analysis, the study identifies key themes related to operational management and its effect on educational effectiveness. The findings reveal that schools implementing efficient operational management—such as flexible curriculum planning, transparent financial management, and teacher capacity development—tend to achieve better academic outcomes. The success factors for effective operational management include strong leadership, professional development for teachers, and active community involvement. Community participation, particularly from parents and alumni, positively impacts infrastructure management and the delivery of quality educational programs. The study suggests the need for more integrated policies among the government, schools, and communities to address operational challenges and enhance the quality of education in Indonesia. |
